“Fait à la main", which means ‘made by hand’, is a mock exhibit that explores the history and heritage of Hermès. Specifically, it highlights the luxury and craftsmanship of their leather handbags, silk scarves, and home objects. The exhibit focuses on the quality, materials, and techniques used, rather than the product itself.
A brochure was designed to provide additional information for the audience. It features articles and notes that highlight the construction of Hermès’ Birkin, unique leathers used, manufacturing of their scarves, and development of their home objects. It includes photographs and images of the Hermès workspace, as well as some of their scarf prints.
